Offline messages
The new feature in chat-widget 1.4 is to offer visitors the possibility to send offline messages when no operators are online.
To enable this feature you need to go to Box menu from the selected widget and enable the “Offline messages (when no operators are available)” option.
When no operators are online, visitors we’ll see the following form:
To view the offline messages you need to go to Conversations menu and choose Offline messages sub-menu.
Email notifications
Of course operators can be notified by email when a new offline message is sent. To do this you need to enable the Offline messages notifications option from My Account menu.
